Associations and Accreditations
Advance holds a position of major influence within the UK Security Industry and is one of a small number of companies who are attempting to drive the industry forward by challenging traditional flaws – with particular regard to employee welfare and contract management. To achieve this we are active members of a number of industry-associated groups and organisations and provide detailed feedback on all relevant issues to our client base.
British Security Industry Association (BSIA)
We are members of the British Security Industry Association and take an active role in the association’s affairs, attending regional seminars and forums throughout the country.
We are NSI Guarding Gold Scheme registered having met the requirements of BS EN ISO9001, BS7499, BS7858, BS7958, BS7984 and BS25999. Registration validates the Total Quality Management system that we operate to deliver consistently high levels of service to our client base.
ASIS International
Members of our Senior Management Team are active members of ASIS, an organisation dedicated to increasing the effectiveness and productivity of security professionals. ASIS also provides us with access to knowledgeable industry figures to address specific client issues.
LISTEN Network Group
Advance Senior Management are individual members of the LISTEN Network Group and participate fully in all activities and seminars to share best practice and allow us to provide a pro-active intelligence led service within London and the surrounding areas.
Skills for Security
Training has played a key part in our development, growth and success over recent years. Alongside our training partner, Senate Security Training, we have consulted Skills For Security with regard to the continuing development of our training and development package for all our employees.
The Security Institute
Advance is able to introduce ideas and initiatives and transfer of best practice from the Security Institute allowing us to remain at forefront of industry developments and innovations. We are able to offer our clients extensive networking opportunities through The Security Institute.
City of London Crime Prevention Association
Advance is a member of the London CPA and takes an active interest in events and seminars organised through the group to promote informed discussion and raise awareness of security related issues within the City of London and wider geographical area.

Advance is a member of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, regularly attending meetings, forums and events providing our clients with a number of networking opportunities.

National Security Inspectorate – EMS Gold
We are NSI Environmental Management System Gold Scheme registered having met the requirements of ISO14001. This accreditation confirms our commitment to our own environmental and corporate social responsibility policies.
National Security Inspectorate - OHSAS 18001
This accreditation demonstrates that Advance Security operates above the statutory standard for health and safety in the workplace. Advance’s Integrated Management System (IMS) has been designed to work to OHSAS 18001 specifications, reducing the potential for accidents, helping guarantee compliance with all health and safety legislation and continually reviewing and improving upon our overall health and safety performance.
