Who's Who
Chris Fieldhouse – Managing Director
Chris has worked within the security industry for more than fifteen years and with Advance for over ten years. Chris has many years experience in retail security and as Managing Director, is responsible for the strategic direction, marketing and overall operation of Advance’s Retail and Supply Chain division. A member of the Advance Board, Chris contributes to the group’s organisational management, market growth and profitability, and the development of commercial and operational strategies across all business functions.
Keith Couch - Operations Director
Keith started his security career as a uniformed officer in retail, too many years ago to mention! His experience both in the field and within management is such that his knowledge and understanding of the security industry is second to none.
Greg Logan – Deputy Operations Director
Greg began his career as a uniformed security officer sixteen years ago. He has progressed through the industry and is now Deputy Operations Director at Advance’s Retail and Supply Chain division, a role he has worked in for nearly four years. Greg oversees the day to day running of the retail operation, providing senior support and guidance to his team of general managers. He takes responsibility for the team’s strategic direction and ensures that the company’s contractual obligations are met.
Tony Amor – Retail Services and Support Director
Tony started off his career in the security industry more than eighteen years ago when he joined Advance as National Accounts Manager. He is now Retail Services and Support Director where he is responsible for the successful and efficient mobilisation of all new contracts for the division. He also ensures a high standard of service delivery from all internal support departments and is a member of the Corporate Social Responsibility Steering Group for Advance Security, ensuring that the business recognises and meets its responsibilities with regard to the environment, community, workplace and marketplace.
David Marchio – National Accounts Director
As National Accounts Director for Advance Retail and Supply Chain division, David’s role is wide ranging and challenging. He is primarily responsible for senior communications between the Advance operational team and our clients throughout the UK. David also provides commercial direction and innovation across our portfolio of clients, working with them to promote and develop our service offerings.
David has worked within the security industry for more than thirteen years. Prior to joining Advance he worked within retail and hospitality management, bringing with him a strong retail background.
Kathryn Green – Sales and Marketing Director
Kathryn joined Advance in April 2008 and while she has previous experience in the security industry the majority of her career has been in the telecommunications sector.
Responsible for new sales and the marketing function, Kathryn works closely with the team to ensure that the new business strategy is developed in accordance with business goals.
Chris Hadfield – Retail General Manager, South
As General Manager Chris is responsible for the retail manned guarding services within the southern region, developing and maintaining high level relationships with his portfolio of clients and overseeing the service provision alongside his operational management team. His strong proactive management style ensures that our clients receive a high standard of service delivery and satisfaction.
Chris has a longstanding career within retail security and has been with Advance for more than fifteen years.
Tim Keohane – General Manager, Strategic Services
Tim has worked in the security industry for sixteen years, having started his career as a uniformed retail officer. He has worked at Advance for the past three years and, as General Manager for Strategic Services, brings a vast experience of providing security services within a variety of sectors. He is primarily responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of the strategic services team. Tim provides direct line management and operational support for his team of operational managers and ensures that security objectives are met.
Dave Ofield – Retail General Manager, North
Dave is responsible for all operational activity in the north. He manages a team of supervisors and field managers while working closely and effectively with support functions to provide an excellent standard of customer service. Within Scotland, Dave is responsible for ensuring all customer contractual obligations are achieved through efficient and proactive management of operational resources.
Dave has been with Advance for eight years and has fifteen years experience in the industry.
Phil Brewer – Head of Communications
Phil joined the security industry straight from leaving further education more than thirteen years ago. He has strong knowledge and extensive experience of working within retail security. His role as Head of Communications gives him responsibility for the 24 hour retail control room within the national communications centre at Advance’s head office. Phil manages a team of schedulers to ensure maximum manned guarding coverage at each retail and supply chain site and provides central communication between the site, the officers and the field operations management team.
